HIMS covers registration, OP, wards, theatre, ICU, pharmacy, laboratory, imaging and billing for Hyderabad hospitals drawing patients from two states, with cash, corporate and TPA claim billing on the same record and remote deployment from Chennai.
HIMS is a hospital platform covering OP and IP registration, appointments and tokens, the clinical record, pharmacy, laboratory, inventory, wards, theatre, ICU, imaging and billing, and Hyderabad hospitals run it through remote deployment from Elevate Aura's studio in Chennai. Scoping is done on a call, your patient, item and rate data is migrated, training runs over screen-share across shifts, and go-live is in 30 working days where scope allows.
The distance is worth stating rather than glossing over. Hyderabad is not within travelling distance of Chennai the way the Tamil Nadu cities are, and Elevate Aura has no Hyderabad office, no staff in Telangana and no local support number. Setup and training are remote, travel can be arranged when a project genuinely warrants it and is agreed in advance, and everyday support is remote and on WhatsApp with the founder who built the system.
Hyderabad hospitals draw patients from across Telangana and from the Andhra Pradesh districts, alongside a large salaried and corporate-covered population inside the city itself.
Two consequences follow, and both land on the same software. The first is travel. A patient from a district town arrives for a procedure, stays with family for the admission, and may next appear eight months later with nothing in hand. Whether that visit is useful depends entirely on whether the first one was recorded properly: a structured record under one identifier, with the history, orders, verified laboratory results, imaging and the discharge summary each in their own place and searchable by UHID rather than by a half-remembered name.
The second is who pays. A Hyderabad admission is far less likely to be a simple cash bill than in a smaller city. Corporate tie-ups, employer cover, insurers and TPAs sit behind a large share of the work, often with a cash component alongside. When those run as separate registers, the hospital ends up reconciling three versions of one admission and chasing claims from a spreadsheet that nobody owns.
Workflow: The payer and the package are set at admission, items inside it are still recorded, and the extras sit separately on the bill.
Result: What the employer owes and what the family owes are clear before discharge.
Workflow: The billing team opens the episode and reads the timed clinical entries, verified results and dispensing records behind it.
Result: The response is assembled from the record rather than from memory.
Workflow: The UHID brings up the earlier admission, the prescription, the results and the imaging before the consultation starts.
Result: Investigations are not repeated because nothing could be found.
No. The studio is in Chennai and there is no Hyderabad office, no staff in Telangana and no local support number. Setup and training are remote, a visit can be arranged when a project warrants it, and ongoing support is remote and on WhatsApp with the founder.
Yes. Cash, corporate credit, insurance and TPA claims run against the same admission the clinical record sits on, with GST on billable items. See insurance and TPA billing and what TPA billing means.
Yes. Locations share the patient base, tariff and reporting, with per-location and group views. Since the deployment is remote in both cases, a second state changes nothing about how it is set up or supported.
Yes. Training is hands-on over screen-share, planned across shifts so night counter and casualty staff are taught directly, and sessions can be recorded for people who join later rather than being passed on second hand.
Yes. Casualty triage, ward and bed management, theatre scheduling and ICU with live vitals per bed are part of the platform, sharing one patient record with OP, pharmacy, laboratory and billing. See ICU management software.
Go-live is in 30 working days where scope allows, with the scope fixed at the outset. Data migration, branding, claim formats and training sit inside that window, and the first days after go-live are supported closely before settling into WhatsApp support.
