For distributors, dealers and OEMs

Medical equipment e-commerce development for buyers who order by quotation and bank transfer.

Hospitals and dealers do not buy a ventilator with a card at checkout. They ask for a quote, negotiate, order and pay by NEFT. We build storefronts around that: quote-to-order, distributor pricing, order status and UTR payment verification, on Next.js and Supabase.

What medical equipment e-commerce development delivers

Medical equipment e-commerce development builds an online store that works the way medical buying actually works in India. A public storefront shows the catalogue; a buyer requests a quotation, receives it, converts it to an order, and pays by bank transfer, with the UTR number submitted and verified before the order is released. Dealers see their own pricing after login.

Elevate Aura built exactly this for Medline Robotics, a medical robotics company in Chennai: a storefront, a distributor portal, quotations, distributor ordering and UTR payment verification, on Supabase and JavaScript, with 253 product and city SEO landing pages feeding the store. That platform is the template for this service.

Orders and payments can flow into Aura Business as sales orders, invoices and receipts, so the store and the office share one record.

Why standard e-commerce fails here

A retail cart does not fit a hospital purchase.

Off-the-shelf shop platforms assume a consumer with a card. Medical buying has quotes, approvals, dealers and bank transfers.

No quotation step

The hospital needs a formal quote for approval before it can order. A cart with a checkout button has nowhere for that to happen.

One price for everyone

Dealers, hospitals and walk-in buyers pay different prices. A retail platform shows one figure to all of them.

Card-only payment

Institutional buyers pay by NEFT or RTGS. Matching those transfers to orders by hand takes an accounts person half a day.

Orders that do not reach operations

The store emails an order; someone retypes it into the billing system and stock is updated later, or never.

GST as an afterthought

Invoices need CGST, SGST or IGST by state, gapless numbering and e-invoice where applicable. Retail plugins rarely get this right.

In practice

Three orders a medical storefront handles.

A hospital buying two units

Workflow: The purchase officer requests a quote for two units, gets a GST quotation PDF, obtains internal approval and converts it to an order a week later.

Result: The quote, order and invoice are one chain, with nothing retyped.

A dealer's monthly order

Workflow: The dealer logs in, sees dealer pricing, places a bulk order and pays by RTGS, entering the UTR in the portal.

Result: Accounts verifies the credit and the order is released without an email thread.

A walk-in buyer from a city page

Workflow: A clinic in another city lands on a product-and-city page, requests a quote and pays by transfer.

Result: A customer the sales team never had to find.

Questions

Medical equipment e-commerce development, answered.

How does UTR payment verification work?

After paying by NEFT, RTGS or IMPS the buyer enters the UTR number against the order in the portal. Your accounts team matches it to the bank credit and marks it verified, which releases the order. This is the flow built for Medline Robotics.

Can we also accept card or UPI payments?

Yes. A payment gateway can sit alongside bank transfer for smaller orders and walk-in buyers. Institutional orders usually stay on transfer with UTR verification.

Can dealers see different prices from hospitals?

Yes. Price tiers are assigned per account, so a logged-in dealer sees dealer pricing and a hospital account sees its own, while the public storefront shows specifications and quote requests. See distributor portal development.

Does the store handle GST invoicing?

Quotations and orders are GST-native, and when connected to Aura Business the order becomes a tax invoice with CGST, SGST or IGST, gapless numbering, e-invoice and e-way bill where applicable. See GST billing software.

What platform is it built on?

Next.js and Supabase, with a Postgres database, authentication and storage, the same stack as the Medline Robotics platform. WordPress is used for content-only sites, not for storefronts with pricing and orders.

How long does a storefront take?

Live in 30 working days where scope allows. Catalogue import from your price list, quotation flow and UTR verification are the core; dealer tiers and Aura Business integration are scoped with you.
