Elevate Aura writes every software layer of a connected healthcare device: the firmware on the device, the gateway or phone link, the telemetry pipeline on Supabase or Azure, and the companion app or web dashboard where the data is read. Your hardware, our software, one engagement.
Healthcare IoT software development is the set of software layers that take a reading from a device and put it in front of a person who needs it: firmware on the device, a link to a phone or gateway, a cloud pipeline that stores and processes the telemetry, and an app or dashboard that shows it. Elevate Aura writes all four layers, or the ones you are missing.
The device firmware is written in C/C++ or MicroPython to your hardware spec. The link is BLE, Wi-Fi, serial or a wired protocol as the hardware allows. The telemetry pipeline runs on Supabase or Azure. The companion app is built in React Native and the dashboard on the web. Hardware design, manufacturing and regulatory certification stay with your team.
A connected device fails at the seams: the firmware sends what the gateway does not expect, the cloud stores what the dashboard cannot read.
The firmware team and the app team each defined a payload, and neither matches the database schema.
When the connection drops the readings are lost, because nobody owned buffering on the device.
The pipeline works for one device on the bench and falls over with a fleet.
A missing reading takes three vendors and a week to trace.
Device, link, cloud and dashboard defined with one data model.
Sampling, buffering and the comms layer on the device.
BLE to a phone, Wi-Fi to the cloud, or serial to a gateway.
Ingestion, storage and processing on Supabase or Azure.
React Native companion app and a web view for the fleet.
On your hardware, from reading to screen, then handover.
Workflow: The device streams readings over BLE to a patient app, which syncs them to the cloud; a clinic dashboard shows each patient's trend.
Result: The clinic sees the reading without the patient visiting.
Workflow: Firmware sends usage and fault codes over Wi-Fi to the pipeline; the service dashboard flags devices that need attention.
Result: A fault is known before the ward calls.
Workflow: The analyser speaks Modbus to a gateway, which forwards telemetry to the cloud and a lab dashboard.
Result: Results and instrument health in one view.
Home and wearable devices reporting to clinicians.
Devices that report status and usage.
Instruments sending results to the cloud.
Telemetry and remote supervision.
Fleet health for the installed base.
A connected product from one builder.
All four: device firmware, the communication link, the cloud telemetry pipeline and the app or dashboard. If your team already has one layer, we write the others to fit it. See IoT product development for the general service.
In a Supabase or Azure project that belongs to you. The pipeline, database and any processing are built in your account, so you keep control of the data and can move or extend it without depending on us.
No. Elevate Aura is software-only. The device, sensors, PCB, enclosure and manufacturing are your hardware team's or your contract manufacturer's. We write the firmware to their specification and test it on the boards they provide.
That remains with your team. We provide design and interface documentation for the software we write, which your team can use in its own submissions, but we do not claim compliance of the device or the software with any regulation.
Yes. Firmware buffers readings locally and the link layer retries and resyncs when the connection returns, so the record on the cloud has no gaps from a dropped connection. See device-to-cloud telemetry.
Fixed scope, agreed on a call about the device, the link, the volume of data and who reads it. You get a plan with the layers, the timeline and the handover, and you own all the code at the end.
We will map the layers from firmware to dashboard, scope the software side and be clear about where your hardware team's work ends and ours begins.
