Elevate Aura writes firmware, device communication, companion apps and cloud telemetry for device companies in the United Kingdom. The work is remote from Chennai, India, under your NDA, on a fixed scope, with a working day that mostly coincides with yours.
Elevate Aura is a founder-led studio based in Chennai, India. UK device companies use us for embedded firmware in C/C++ or MicroPython, communication over BLE, Wi-Fi, serial, Modbus or CAN, a React Native companion app, and telemetry on Supabase or Azure.
There is no United Kingdom entity, office or staff behind this, and nothing on this page should be read as implying one. Delivery is remote. The practical consequence is better than it sounds for a UK buyer: Indian working hours sit only a few hours ahead of British time, so a normal UK morning and afternoon are both live for us rather than being a narrow window at the edge of a day.
The engagement is software only. We do not design printed circuit boards, source parts, manufacture, do mechanical or enclosure work, or take on hardware regulatory certification. What we deliver is firmware and software, source, build instructions and documentation your team can use in its own submissions, all owned by you.
Most hesitation about offshore engineering comes down to four questions, and none of them is about ability.
A supplier whose day has ended before yours begins turns every question into tomorrow's question.
A convincing first call, then the work is handed to someone you never speak to.
Schematics and specifications leave the building without a signed agreement or a revocable access list.
An open-ended arrangement where nothing was defined and every clarification is billable.
Signed before specifications, schematics or datasheets are exchanged.
Controller, peripherals, behaviour and the software boundary, in your working hours.
Deliverables, exclusions and timeline agreed before a line is written.
Boards or an evaluation unit shipped so testing happens on the real thing.
A demo and a written update each week, with a live thread through your day.
Source, build instructions, test notes and documentation in your repository.
Workflow: A defined firmware scope is handed over with a fixed plan while your team keeps the hardware and the roadmap.
Result: Progress without a permanent headcount decision.
Workflow: A gateway reads the machine over Modbus or CAN and forwards what matters into a dashboard your service team uses.
Result: An installed base that can be supported remotely.
Workflow: Connectivity, the companion app and the cloud pipeline are written together rather than split across suppliers.
Result: No integration argument between three vendors.
Firmware and connected software.
Controller and bus software.
Measurement and reporting.
Connectivity on existing lines.
A first product to ship.
Defined overflow work.
No. Elevate Aura is based in Chennai, India, with no entity, office or staff in the United Kingdom. Engagements with UK clients are delivered remotely, and we state that up front rather than leaving it to be assumed.
Indian hours run a few hours ahead of British time, so our afternoon and evening cover your morning and much of your afternoon. In practice a UK team can raise something at their desk and have an answer the same day rather than the next.
Yes. Your NDA is signed before any specification or schematic is shared, code can be delivered into the repository you nominate, and any cloud resources can sit in your own account, so access stays yours to grant and withdraw.
Your company does. Source, build and flashing instructions, test notes and documentation are delivered to you, and nothing in the handover requires us to stay involved for your team to keep working on it.
No. The engagement is software only: no PCB design, no sourcing or manufacturing, no mechanical or enclosure work, and no hardware regulatory certification of any kind. Those remain with your team, and we supply documentation your team can use in its own submissions.
Send the controller, the scope and how your engineers prefer to work. We will come back with a fixed scope, a timeline and a clear statement of the software-only boundary.
