Elevate Aura writes firmware, device communication, companion apps and cloud telemetry for device companies in Australia. Delivery is remote from Chennai, India, under your NDA, on a fixed scope, across working hours that sit close to your own.
Elevate Aura is a founder-led studio in Chennai, India, writing embedded firmware in C/C++ or MicroPython, communication layers over BLE, Wi-Fi, serial, Modbus or CAN, React Native companion apps and telemetry pipelines on Supabase or Azure.
Of the markets we serve remotely, Australia has the easiest rhythm. Indian hours sit a few hours behind eastern Australian time, so your afternoon is our late morning and there is no day lost waiting for a reply. A question raised after your stand-up is usually answered before you finish for the day.
There is no Australian entity, office or staff, and we do not suggest otherwise. Everything is delivered remotely, and the scope is software only: no PCB design, no component sourcing, no manufacturing, no mechanical or enclosure work and no hardware regulatory certification. You receive firmware, source, build instructions and documentation your team can use in its own submissions, and you own all of it.
Australian hardware teams rarely lack ideas or funding. They lack a firmware engineer who is free this quarter.
The role is open, the shortlist is thin and the product roadmap waits on recruitment.
An overseas team whose day has finished before yours starts turns a small clarification into a lost day.
Three suppliers each hold one layer, and the gaps between them are nobody's responsibility.
Scope, exclusions and ownership were discussed on a call and never turned into a document.
Signed before any specification, schematic or datasheet changes hands.
Controller, peripherals, behaviour and the software boundary, in your afternoon.
Deliverables, exclusions and timeline agreed before work starts.
Boards or an evaluation unit shipped so testing happens on real hardware.
A demo and a written update each week, with a live thread most of your day.
Source, build instructions, test notes and documentation, owned by you.
Workflow: A defined scope of firmware work is handed over with a fixed plan while your team keeps the hardware and the roadmap.
Result: The product moves while the role stays open.
Workflow: Devices report usage and faults into a pipeline, and a dashboard shows which unit needs attention and where.
Result: Fewer trips to sites that did not need one.
Workflow: An update route is built so a firmware fix reaches installed units instead of requiring a visit.
Result: Defects fixed by release rather than by travel.

No. Elevate Aura is based in Chennai, India, with no Australian entity, office or staff, and we would rather say so on the page than have it come up later. Work for Australian clients is delivered remotely.
Indian hours sit a few hours behind eastern Australian time, so a normal Chennai working day covers most of yours. A standing call in your afternoon lands comfortably in our morning, and questions are usually answered the same day.
How testing happens on your hardware is agreed when we scope: an evaluation unit sent to Chennai, or a rig in your lab we can reach. Either way the firmware is tested on the real thing before handover, with logs and test notes. Where equipment only exists in your lab, your team runs the measurement and we work to what it reports.
Your NDA is signed before any specification or schematic is shared. Code can be delivered straight into the repository you nominate, and any cloud resources can sit in your own account, so access stays yours to grant and withdraw. No client is named publicly without written permission.
No. The engagement is software only. PCB design, component sourcing, manufacturing, mechanical and enclosure work and hardware regulatory certification all stay with your team, and we supply documentation your team can use in its own submissions.
Tell us the controller, what the device must do and how your engineers prefer to work. We will return a fixed scope, a timeline and a plain statement of what stays with your hardware team.
